We are pleased to announce the culminating event of the 2024.25 season: The Washington Ballet’s annual Gala to be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the National Building Museum. This special evening will include a VIP reception, dinner, performance, and dancing into the evening. 

The Gala, one of D.C.'s most anticipated events, provides the opportunity to celebrate our extraordinary dancers, preeminent school, and dedicated supporters. The Gala has become one of Washington’s premier social events where leaders from the diplomatic, political, philanthropic, and artistic communities come together to celebrate the work of our organization.

    The Washington Ballet's annual Gala raises more than $1 million annually. Proceeds from the Gala support artistic, educational, and community engagement programs of The Washington Ballet and The Washington School of Ballet, the premier ballet company and school in the nation’s capital. Additionally, funds raised support our efforts to expand access to dance and strengthen our community.

    The Washington Ballet dedicates more than $1.4 million annually to outreach and education programs. Funds raised from the event also allow The Washington School of Ballet to award $400,000 annually in merit and need based scholarships.
